About Nekawa Healing Collective
Nekawa Healing Collective was created to offer deeper, more integrated support for those on a healing path. Through a blend of education, group work, individual therapy, and wellness offerings, Nekawa provides multiple pathways for healing, meeting people where they are while supporting continued growth, integration, and community.
At the same time, Nekawa is a therapist collective and creative incubator. We provide a collaborative environment where therapists are supported in growing beyond the traditional one-to-one model, creating groups, workshops, and experiences that expand access to healing within the community.. We believe deeply in the well being of both the therapist and the client. When therapists are supported, resourced, and connected to their own creativity and purpose, the work they offer becomes more impactful, more sustainable, and more alive.
And we are building a community where both clients and clinicians are nourished, supported, and able to grow into the fullness of who they are.
Founded by Jen Borovica,. After years of witnessing the limitations of traditional talk therapy, and through her own personal journey, Jen recognized the need for spaces that center the body, the nervous system, and the deeper layers of healing that cannot be accessed through cognition alone.
What is the meaning of Nekawa?
(nuh-KAH-wuh) is awaken spelled backwards
Our "awakening" happens when we return to the innate wisdom of our bodies. Our bodies hold divine gifts: gifts of intuition, a place of inner knowing, and heightened senses that give us the ability to tap into safety, connection, and our ability to heal ourselves.
When we safely begin to "un thaw" from the numbing, when we begin to soften the frantic survival energy, we return to this wisdom, we have access to our authentic expression.

Nekawa is here to hold you, just as I was held during my healing. The loneliness of awakening although was profound, it came with a significant loss of a community and through these years I deeply craved an awakened community that could hold me as I walked through it all.
Nekawa aims to be a community space to hold you in moments of healing. Community is at our core. Connection and belonging are what drive the spirit of Nekawa.
Nekawa is a manifestation born of this period. Nekawa’s spirit will be shared as the manifestation of the awakening of the spirit within. The oneness, the wholeness of each of us, is in me, you, and the collective.
It all started with what seemed like a dream... 4 years of what I call being in the washing machine, a time of intense healing, looking at every nook and cranny inside... the healing was hard and messy and along the way came the experiences, the messages, the synchronicities, and the big awakening.
I’ve been relatively quiet over the years, keeping what felt like a mountain inside of me to myself. The sacredness of the journey was mine and only a few to share with along the way.
